Fanatastic see your pics and to read your comments. I spent 2 summers on Ometepe 1992 at the CVC at Urbaite, the 1993 at Merida on the shore by Volcan Maderas, both through Latin Link’s STEP programme. In 1993 my team built the block of 3 classrooms on the boundary of the site (on the far left and just visible if you’re standing at the gate). The accomodation block is new - who is this for? Is Julita still at the CVC, I wonder whether she has passed away now…? You mention a Ruth - I knew a Ruth at Urbaite - taught at the CVC - wonder if its the same person…? I was flabbergasted to see your photo of the builders of Ezachius (sp?) and Francisco. We worked with Ezachius both 1993 and 1994 and Fransicso as well in 1993!!!! Amazing! Would be good to hear from you. Mike

Sounds like you’re having a brilliant time out there! Make sure you keep on top of these new Sunday school songs. It has been reported that actions can get quite complicated these days.

Can you put some links in your entries to maps so we know where you are exactly. Yes, I want diagrams of the volcanoes too

Congratulations!

I failed on almost exactly the same thing, except I hadn’t left the test centre! The time I passed I had a perfect drive until the last road where I picked up four or five minor faults.
